DIBS Technician

A Large Format B&W Copy Technician, also known as DIBs Technician, uses scanners and plotters to copy large format originals onto various types of specified media.  This person performs all tasks required for basic job coping including, job set-up, scanning, printing, proofing, folding, trimming, binding, wrapping and related paperwork for billing purposes.  It is often necessary to communicate with others to make suggestions or report problems.  A successful candidate must be willing to work long hours.  The hours for this position are 4PM ? 12AM in addition to overtime requirements. This is a temporary to permanent position providing an excellent opportunity to flex your large format muscles.

 

QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in a Windows environment. Ability to process, comprehend, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Ability to perform mathematical calculations to determine enlargement and reduction ratios. Pays close attention to detail and product quality. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. Has a strong work ethic and ability to work extended hours upon request. Demonstrates a consistent a can-do attitude with customers and co-workers!


ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThe ideal candidate must work well in a culturally diverse environment. The ideal candidate should be able to work rotating Saturday shifts. The ideal candidate should be able to handle rotating on-call responsibilities. Working overtime is a condition of employment at A&E.
