Desktop Publishing Specialist
We need a Desktop Publishing Specialist for our client in the Silicon Valley!!
The DTP Specialist's Primary Responsibilities include:
-Responsible for preparing Word files for Cisco learning products for deliverable to an outsourced print vendor
-Receives work and direction form the Production Team Lead
-Works periodically with the Production Team Lead who helps resolve higher-level problems
-Desktop publishing-related tasks, including preparing Cisco learning product Word files and PPT files for ultimate delivery to an outsourced print vendor
-Provide feedback to the Production Team Lead and the Editorial Coordinator with regards to teh condition and status of Course WORD files.
-Proactively troubleshoot for improvement of current processes.
-Adhere to strict deadlines, and communicate project status to Production Team Lead.
-Manage time to meet milestones and tight deadlines
-Juggling multiple projects
Skills Required:
* Ability to be extremely organized and attentive to details
* Excellent TIME MANAGEMENTskills!!
* Strong Microsoft Office WORD, POWERPOINT Skills
* Proficient in ADOBE ACROBAT SUITE, MICROSOFT PPT, REFLECTION FTP CLIENT
* Working knowledge of desktop publishing templates, particularly MS Word based
