ECommerce Product Content Manager

Med1OnlineTM, located in Golden, Colorado, is seeking an ECommerce Product Content Manager with three to five years of experience as an ecommerce production manager / content manager or similar position.Successful candidates will have editor/editing experience with the ability to manage remote correspondence.

Candidates will be required to manage and improve the processes of uploading product content onto the website.  Core processes include managing product data collection from manufacturers, managing both manual and automated data upload processes, and ensuring measurable quality standards throughout.  This position will also manage both local and contract offshore service teams supporting product content upload.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? Work with manufacturers to ensure full, accurate and complete product representation on website, including photos, product descriptions, product categorization, color representations, product variations, and supporting documentation.

? Develop relationships with manufacturer representatives and manage them against desired outcomes.

? Coordinate and evaluate the work performed by his/her team, and contract service teams.

? Provide ongoing feedback to contract service teams including both performance and contract status.

? Manage all web product content maintenance issues including changes and any related data entry tasks.

? Identify and implement methodologies and tools to ensure the content upload process becomes more automated and scalable.

? Work closely with IT team in evaluating and testing upgrades and changes to content management system/s, e.g., ecommerce platform upgrades / changes.

? Work with product merchandising to ensure timely product content changes in support of temporary promotions, e.g., sales offers, manufacturer-specific promotions, email marketing promotions, etc.

? Develop and implement process and quality key performance indicators to measure data upload processes and ensure best-of-breed speed/quality.

? Keep management informed of service activities to include, but not limited to changes, problems, concerns.
