EDITORIAL COORDINATOR
EEI Communications, the premier Metro area publishing company, has a long-term (multi-year) assignment in DC for an Editorial Coordinator.
Key responsibilities:
? Review and respond to manuscript submissions; assign projects to developmental editors.
? Coordinate and monitor copyediting, layout, proofreading, and indexing of books, reports, and newsletters.
? Provide final quality control check of publications.
? Track all project schedules in publication database.
Key job specifications:
? At least five years of professional publishing experience, preferably in a scholarly environment.
? B.A. or B.S. degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
? Strong customer-service orientation.
? Top-notch organizational skills and attention to detail.
? Successful track record in teamwork situations.
? Experience coordinating multiple projects and setting priorities in a fast-paced publishing environment.
