Responsibilities
Prepares value-added content for databases or documents collections. Performs editorial tasks including subject indexing, abstracting, accuracy editing, and data verification. Performs high-level quality assurance tasks.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's or higher degree
2. Excellent written communication skills
3. Attention to detail
4. Strong analytical skills, and ability to synthesize information
5. Ability to meet deadlines
6. Strong organization skills
7. Computer literacy
8. Relevant background or interest
9. Ability to multi-task
Looking for a flexible individual to perform editorial tasks in support of various legislative and historical products sold in academic and library markets. Work may involve editorial tasks to support the development of digital collections of 18th-, 19th- and/or 20th-century documents, as well as indexing of microform or print collections of documents. Team-based environment.
