Editors and designers needed for national consumer magazine
Wondertime is a new lifestyle and learning magazine for parents of young children from infancy through first grade. It is an entirely new kind of magazine in the parenting genre: thoughtful, literate, joyful, and beautifully crafted. The look is clean, contemporary, unexpected, even daring.
We are looking for passionate, dedicated editors and designers to join our team.
Editors should have true passion for:
-writing and writers
-finding new angles for old topics
-understanding the whys and wherefores of young children
-crafting stories
-collaborating with passionate designers
Designers and Art Directors should be excited about:
-design and typography
-directing photo-shoots
-exploring new arenas of design
-original thinking
Wondertime is based in Northampton, Massachusetts. Northampton is a thriving little city at the foot of the Berkshires, where the quality of life is high and the cost of living is low. If New York City (3 hours away) and Boston (90 minutes away) decided to settle down together, Northampton is where they?d do it.
Editor and Designer positions are available at all levels, but magazine experience is a must.
