Estimator

Job Purpose:

The Estimator prepares cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements. The Estimator also provides training to ?Estimator Trainees? and or cross-training as appropriate.



Duties:



* Identifies labor, material, equipment, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, and related documents.



* Computes costs by analyzing labor, material,equipment, and time requirements.



* Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.



* Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.



* Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.



* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.



Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years experience as an estimator in the printing industry, preferably with publications and commercial type work. Interested parties that do not meet this minimum requirement need not apply.
