Event Coordinator

Event Coordinator Trader Publishing Company, the photo guide/classified publication industry leader in the U.S. seeks a driven individual to join the For Rent team as our Event Coordinator. This is an entry to mid-level position with an extraordinary opportunity to join a growing business.

Candidate must possess resourcefulness, positive attitude, a strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and 1-2 years experience in marketing, advertising, event planning, communications or similar work experience. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating events that strengthen the brand image of For Rent. The candidate will:

Work closely with marketing team to promote a consistent brand image and message in all B-to-B and B-to-C projects.

Work with outside vendors to coordinate travel, lodging, and logistics for local, regional and national tradeshows and events.

Work with outside vendors to coordinate sponsorship opportunities and booth specifications (location, layout and functionality).

Work closely with inside sales management to determine appropriate attendance at local events.

Have the ability to work well with all levels of internal and external customers in a professional manner.

Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrate creative thinking.

Be able to travel.

Be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

Have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint a must).

Hold a Bachelors degree in one of the following areas: Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent work experience.
