Fulfillment and Database Manager

Leading B-to-B information provider servicing the global energy, oil and gas industries is seeking an experienced, Fulfillment and Database Manager to be the primary owner of building and maintaining our company database. Must insure timely, accurate, and cost efficient fulfillment/database services be provided by our fulfillment vendors and all in-house fulfillment systems.

Candidate should have a minimum of five years database/fulfillment experience. Position will be responsible for:
? Reviewing, analyzing and evaluating existing internal and external fulfillment and list capturing systems.
? Summarizing the critical needs and goals of our database initiative.
? Leading in the RFP process of potential database vendors and providing selected database vendor with all critical information needed.
? Managing the database build project and monitor vendor performance..
? Providing ongoing management and oversight of the database.
? Working with Marketing and Circulation personnel to understand promotional objectives.
? Leading the development of database marketing analytics such as response modeling and customer profiling.
? Working with IT personnel to maximize the effectiveness, value and validity of the database.
? Insuring the capture and integrity of all transactions entering the database.

An entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership skills and an attention to detail/deadlines is required.
