Graphic Artist/Production Assistant

Publisher of four national fashion magazines seeks a graphic artist/production assistant. Candidates must have extensive knowledge of Quark and Photoshop, as well as one to two years of experience in magazine or newspaper production.

In this position you will learn to layout pages, retouch and color-correct pictures, as well as design ads, typesetting and more. Furthermore, you will coordinate advertising traffic and preparing files for print.
You will be working closely with our clients as well as the editorial department, pre-press and press. You must have an excellent sense of color, design and possesses great
organizational skills, as well as be undeterred by tight deadlines.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about learning all aspects of magazine production and welcomes the possibility of becoming an Art Director in the future.
