Journal Production Editor
Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, a publisher of books, journals and alternative media has an immediate opening for a Journal Production Editor.
In this position you will be responsible for trafficking print and electronic journal issues through each production stage within the established deadlines.
? Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-level quality of each stage of production.
? Review copyediting, page proofs, and camera-ready copy for accuracy and consistency with LEA, APA, and other editorial styles.
? Liaise with Authors, Editors, and Typesetters throughout the copyediting and page proof review processes. Incorporate Authors' and Editors' corrections into manuscripts and proofs. Maintain and update production schedules.
? Verify and process production bills.
? Facilitate online delivery; check electronic product for accuracy.
? Ongoing interactions with Journal Fulfillment, Promotion, and Editors, as well as copyeditors, typesetters, printers, and online service providers.
