Manager of Business Development - Webinars

 

This individual will work closely with the VP, Publisher & Corporate Business Development in handling the details and strategy of Vendome?s Webinar program.  The strategy and plan will be to fully maximize the depth and breadth of Vendome?s customer base across Real Estate, Construction and Healthcare.  In this role, the Business Development Manager will be the primary contact on developing, maintaining and executing the Webinar calendar.  The Business Development Manager will provide the follow up support and serve as liaison between Vendome and third party strategic partners related to Webinars. 

 

The Business Development Manager will identify and develop Webinars based on the markets Vendome serves.  The Business Development Manager will create value by expanding the customer universe of the Webinars and Vendome at large.  Furthermore, this person will work closely with sales to identify and prospect sponsors for Webinars. 

 

Primary responsibilities include:

?  Plan, manage and execute at least one Webinar per week. This includes all logistics from creating the calendar, identifying and signing speakers, creating the conference materials, developing the e-marketing campaigns, moderating the event, handling the attendee inquiries, and follow up.

?  Manage the relationship with Webinar vendor.  Minimize costs and ensure seamless execution of the events including post event surveys. 

?  Challenge the strategy behind the Webinars, exploring pay-to-attend vs free-to-attend, continuing education options, pricing, times and dates. 

?  Manage in-bound inquiries, payments, issues, concerns regarding the event from existing and potential customers. 

?  Develop and expand our in-house email lists by market segment for use in the Webinars and elsewhere.  Based in Vendome?s markets, create a plan to aggressively grow the email lists for marketing purposes. 

?  Prospect, identify and sell webinar sponsorships in conjunction with existing sales force.  Provide a pipeline for sponsored events leveraging existing Vendome assets, vendors and sales force. 

?  Develop domain expertise across the divisions to ensure Vendome delivers the highest quality Webinars. 

 

Position Requirements:
This position requires a self-motivated, analytical problem-solver with an understanding of media business development in an age of digital transformation.  Experience managing and executing Webinars is a huge plus.  Knowledge of the healthcare, real estate and construction business is ideal  Prefer media/publishing experience, at least 6-8 years experience.   College degree required.
