Marketing Manager – Home Market

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Put your marketing communications and product management skills to work for this major publisher of educational materials for the pre-K through 6 market.  As a Marketing Manager for the Home Market, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing practices that increase the company?s volume of sales of educational products used in children?s homes.  You will research the current home market, including the company?s existing products and those of competitors, and identify opportunities for growth in home market sales.  You will create and use both print and online promotional materials, contribute to product pricing decisions, and help with packaging of the company?s products for sale into the home market. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor?s degree (preferably in marketing) and experience marketing educational products via the Internet, including experience conceptualizing, implementing, and maintaining eCommerce systems.  Previous experience with the home market and with start-up operations is preferred.  Relocation assistance is available.
