Marketing Specialist

Purpose:

 

Inecom Entertainment Company, Pittsburgh?s leading film entertainment company, is a distributor of documentary and instructional films for DVD, VOD, PVD and TV.  Products are produced in house and by independent producers.  Titles produced include Antietam, Expo, Johnstown Flood, CWL and CWM series, and the most recent addition to the collection, Horses of Gettysburg featuring Ron Maxwell, Director of Gods and Generals.  Narrators include such actors as Gene Wilder, Richard Dreyfus, and Keith Carradine.  Some of the programs have been aired on Public Television in regular and HDTV formats.  The ideal candidate will have a successful record and background in utilizing the Internet and technology for the purpose of selling and promoting products.  Additionally, a candidate that has sold tangible products with an Internet catalog/component is desired.

 

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

The purpose of this position is to monitor, evaluate and recommend improvements to existing marketing communications, advertising and product placement programs as well as create or identify new opportunities for placement of Inecom products across all distribution channels. 

?  Create and identify outlets and channels to expose products to retail buyers, distributors and consumers. 

?  Identify problems, identify solutions or actions to be taken, carry out implementation of those actions.

?  Identify and track product placements through:

o On-line outlets and stores

o Brick and mortar retail outlets

o Print advertising placements

o Third party catalog listings

o Affiliate programs

o Third party promotional programs and advertising opportunities. 

?  Other duties as assigned.



 

Qualifications:

 

?  Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing, Liberal Arts or Social Sciences with a 3.2 out of 4.0 or higher GPA

?  Position requires 2-4 years experience in product marketing or publishing

?  Ability to sell and promote products via the Internet and related technology

?  Excellent computer skills and software knowledge along with a high Internet IQ

?  Strong organizational skills and high degree of proficiency, accuracy and independence

?  Strong customer-orientation/focus and interpersonal skills in written, verbal and phone communications

?  Ability to manage multiple functions and prioritize workload and work through specific timeframes on a daily basis

?  Ability to adapt to fast paced business climate
