JOB SUMMARY

 

The Marketing & HR Assistant will serve as a team with the Marketing & Human Resources Manager to mange the club?s communications and promotions and assist with personnel management.

 

The Marketing & HR Assistant will design promotional materials, maintain the website, interact with members, manage data, assist with meetings and special events, and perform additional administrative and supportive duties.

 

Applicant must have excellent customer service, computer, organizational and communication skills. A great attitude is a must. Excellent benefits with a 36-40 hour work week. $15 - $17 an hour, depending on experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

- Professional appearance and presence a must

- Minimum 1 year Design Experience

- Marketing Experience is required

- Human Resources experience is desirable, but not required

- Must be highly self motivated

- Must have a great attitude and be willing to assist others

- Must have a strong work ethic and be organized, honest and ethical.

- Strong computer skills

- Strong organizational skills

 

JOB DUTIES:

Basic List of Duties:

Marketing:

Edit, design, print, and distribute the monthly newsletter publication

Design promotions and distribute - postcards, flyers, booklets

Design a variety of annual or periodic projects

Manage a large amount of event information (dates, times, cost, etc..)

Layout and print menus for Dining Rooms

Keep the Website updated and fresh

Work with vendors to order printed materials

Coordinate the Bridge Program: schedule bridge lessons, order supplies, etc.


HR:

Assist with Coordinating Meetings

Assist with New Hires

Employee Newsletter

Assist with HR Filing

Participate in Meetings: Employee Forum, Safety Committee

Assist with Managing Benefits

 

Administrative:

Provide Reception Relief ? fill in at the front desk during lunch and breaks

Office Manager:  Order supplies, paper, keep office tidy

Additional duties/ support to Marketing & Human Resources Manager and the Food & Beverage Team.

 

Hours:

Hours are primarily 8:30 to 5:00, Monday ? Friday, but are somewhat flexible.

 

Pre-Employment:

Must pass a drug screen and background check for employment.
