Narrow Web Press Operator

Job Description

Manufacturing company that specaizlizes in providing specialty and high-end packaging for a wide variety of markets seeks an experienced Narrow Web Press Operator for our 100,000 square foot ultra modern facility.  This is a first shift position.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:Ensure the safe and efficient operation of a multi-color, inline flexo printing press, while maintaining customer specified standards Responsible for setting up a job using correct inks, anilox, stock, dies, print cylinders and auxiliary equipment.  Must be able to maintain consistent quality parameters throughout the press run Proficiency in printing high quality multi-color private label and 4 color process Follow established work instructions for every step in the production process Operate production equipment consistent with rated speeds that will both promote maximum efficiency while producing a quality customer product The ability to take charge and provide diagnosis of problems is a plus Flexible hours required

 

Qualifications

 Minimum of 2 years Narrow Web Press experience required Need to be well versed in plate mounting, die care, and press maintenance requirements High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
