Your tasks
We currently have an opening for a New Product Manager within our Copyright Department. The New Product Manager is responsible for all things relative to first release of a song. Some of the responsiblities include but are not limited to:

* Assemble release and related song details.
* Research status on songs and prepare weekly chart report.
* Liase w/related departments on new deals, mechanical licenses and sampling issues.
* Research/resolve claims.
* Label Copy
* Song input
* Respond to Affiliate Release inquiries.
* Handle Commercial Registrations.
* Special projects as they arise.

Our requirements
We are looking for someone who holds a 4 year degree and has 2 to 3 years of Music Publishing experience, preferably in Copyright.

Candidate must have a high attention to detail and possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere. Excellent computer skills are required for this position and the ability to learn new applications.
AS400 experience is a plus.
