Leading publisher of serious non-fiction titles for general readers is looking for brainiacs with savvy publicity/marketing skills to help us secure ink, airtime, and online attention for scholars and academics whose ideas actually shape our world. Candidates should be adept at juggling many projects simultaneously, have independent thoughts and a keen understanding of media and/or strong contacts in print, radio and TV. Candidates able to demonstrate creativity, initiative, ability to work with minimal supervision, and have publishing related experience is preferred, and likely to be hired.
