Position Description:

This position reports to the Fulfillment Director and receives training and direction from the Print Order Operations Lead and Print Order Technical Lead. This is an entry level position requiring fundamental use of personal computer and various internal database applications. Employees must complete the trainee program and/or demonstrate proficiency in core competencies within six months to move into the next level of training.
Knowledge/Skills/Education requirements include:
Detail oriented and high level of accuracy
Good organization and project management skills
Ability to read and follow directions
Good written and oral communication skills and note taking
Use of e-mail, memorandum, fax and telephone
Basic personal computer knowledge with emphasis in MS Excel and Outlook. Some MS Access preferred.
High school diploma or GED equivalent

Position Complexity
Defined procedures are followed; however, considerable decision-making is required depending on the task being performed.



Qualifications:

Maintain an organized work area.
Develop a good working knowledge of the print order system, and applications used including internal applications - POA, XpressList, CCI.
Support Circulation, Production, Printers, and the digital blast group working as a team player to ensure success.
Be flexible and work overtime when deadlines warrant.
Copy, distribute output, and file information
Submit CCI system jobs for events, reports, purges, reverse purges, unit recalcs, consensus, P&A events, weeklies from within XpressList, and others.
Create P&A events and mieves as needed
Close out final work orders
Research and report problems when system jobs fail to run
Perform quality control checks on issue labels, inkjet tapes and selectronic tapes, and reports
Prepare issue service output for shipment to the printer
Translate transmittal forms
Interpret execution reports
Create office copy distribution lists and labels
Create print order for least complex publications (those requiring five hours or less for preparation)
Understand and execute supplemental mailings
Update and submit the Priority Sheet (hot sheet) on a daily basis
Key and submit system jobs for nightly run.
Quality check output reports and labels
Other duties as requested by Manager or Leads
