Printing Customer Service Rep, Commercial Printing, Mailing, CSR

We are one of the largest commercial printers in Southern Arizona with a staff of approximately 125 printing and graphics professionals. We have 5 retail quick print facilities and a commercial printing production facility all within the Tucson metropolitan area. Our equipment ranges from 6-color & 2-color Heidelberg Speedmasters to Xerox Docutechs to Xerox Docucolors including digital prepress and full letterpress and mailing departments. AlphaGraphics is an international franchise and this franchise is the largest producer within the worldwide system serving a local, Tucson clientele base plus companies located throughout the United States.

We have an opening at one of our high volume locations in our Customer Service Department. Our CSR?s work on specifically assigned accounts in tandem with outside sales reps to provide the highest possible level of customer service, responsiveness and ultimately satisfaction.

Duties include: interfacing and communication liaison with assigned customers: specifying and processing estimate requests and job orders; providing counsel and suggestions to customers directed towards delivering greater value and satisfaction; assuring the successful acceptance of customer digital files; securing proof approvals; coordinating the scheduling and expediting of job production within other departments; reviewing work for quality and pricing; assisting with the billing process at job completion; following up with customers on quotes, promotions, special requests and service issues; and facilitating internal communication with outside sales staff assigned to same accounts.

Successful candidate should have experience in a printing, graphic arts or direct mail industry environment with a competent understanding of offset (including four-color process), xerographic and digital printing; previous experience with customer contact functions and sales; some proficiency on both Mac and PC; and have a comfortable familiarity with Quark, InDesign, Pagemaker, Photoshop and Illustrator; must have a proficient command of the English language and an ability to spell and communicate well; competent and efficient keyboard skills; experience with MS Word and Excel and knowledge of database applications (such as Access or Filemaker Pro); should be an enthusiastic team player and enjoy working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. The ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently and interface directly with customers and impress them with your competence is a trait we value highly. High school diploma or equivalent required.
