Job Summary:

?

Responsible for developing, documenting and implementing test processes and procedures for the business. ?Interact with business development, IT and others within the company to ensure product stability and functionality. ?Formulate and document testing standards, comply with methodologies in the software life cycle and monitor industry standards for testing and quality assurance. Create and implement test plans from business analysis and specification documents.

Key Functions:
Develop QA standards for the business
Develop and execute thorough test plans in a timely and efficient manner for all areas of the product
Write easy-to-understand test case steps and expected result descriptions
Critically think about how consumers will interact with the software being tested and turn those thoughts into finding bugs, listing action items
Direct / coordinate the activities of internal and external testers
Serve as the focal point on the business side for reporting / communicating / tracking bugs

Marginal Functions:
Participate in product design / feature development
Other projects as assigned

?

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing the activities of all internal / external product testers

?

Job Latitude:

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision in keeping with the company culture

Education/Experience Requirements:

Previous software QA experience.
Real-world web testing experience.? 3 plus years required
Have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.?
Desire to be part of a highly productive, fast-paced team.
Organized and detail-oriented personality.
