ROTOGRAVURE PRINTER/LAMINATOR OPERATOR
We currently have an immediate need for a "Rotogravure Printer/Laminator Operator" for a company in southern Indiana.
We strongly desire candidates who have a printing background, but would be willing to look at candidates with a very solid manufacturing background.
Requirements:Printing experience desired, especially rotogravure; will also consider other types of printing experience, i.e., Flexo, Offset, etc.Web handling and laminating/embossing experience a plus, but not mandatoryLoad and unload rolls of material using hoist (up to 1000 lb. rolls)Load print cylinders (approximately 200 lb.) into printer utilizing "cherry picker" cartLoad embossing rolls into embossing machine (up to 2000 lb.) using hoistBackground or experience with color is desirable (matching colors or distinguishing shades), but not mandatoryAbility to troubleshoot quality, process, and mechanical problems on pressContinuous monitoring of quality of material being producedQuality control of material being produced and related documentationBasic mechanical aptitudeGood attendance record
