National Retail Home Furnishings Company seeks highly skilled, full-time editor to implement and direct consistency of editorial style and content for all channels of communication: catalogues, Internet and corporate printed materials. Responsibilities include managing editorial production of catalogues, hands-on copyediting and proofreading. Must have Bachelor?s degree in Journalism, a minimum of 7 years? editorial experience in catalogue or publishing and a minimum of 3 years? in a supervisory role. Mastery of AP style and Mac/Quark proficiency are required. Strong background in editing and coordinating large communications projects. Excellent communication (written/verbal), time-management and leadership/management skills required.
