Senior Segment Analyst - Marketing

The Senior Segment Analyst leads in-depth analysis and operational assessment supporting corporate segment marketing programs. Develops approaches to profile corporate segment accounts, programs and revenue/usage distribution. Assists in segment, pricing, marketing program, and new product development/business case analysis across internal customers. Supports segment business development initiatives through evaluation of new business opportunities.

Major Responsibility Areas: Coordinates customer analysis/recommendations for new segment pricing strategies across all media. Emphasis on evaluation of product sales/utilization trends, and development of strategies for enhancing growth. Monitors pilot/implementation success of new pricing models with segment marketing directors. Maintains close relationship with finance and database marketing, in order to utilize segment, special offer and customer database information. Regularly updates profile of corporate segment accounts with information from these various sources. Coordinates reporting on key segment metrics. Periodically updates supporting information for major segment programs/initiatives, including: sub-segmentation, special offer analysis, program tracking, and practice area/job function data. Works closely with product/segment marketing on SAP requirements. Identifies opportunities to leverage West infrastructure towards increased segment growth. Handles data preparation for financial/operating reviews, including assessment of media revenue trends.

 

 BA/BS degree, progress towards MBA a plus 3+ years finance/product/market/operational analysis, customer analytics experience or MBA and 2+ years of similar experience. Superior analytical skills. Ability to generate data and insight on segment trends. Thorough working knowledge of spreadsheet, database applications, and Microsoft Suite of products. Business Objects/SPSS/SQL experience/knowledge a plus. Demonstrated project management and organizational skills. Ability to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking environment, meet deadlines and interact with individuals at all levels within the organization. Demonstrated communication skills (both written and oral)
