Software Configuration Specialist (AITD-JP)

UCG is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated configuration specialist for our headquarters. Responsibilities include configuring ERP systems and other software applications in a fast-paced, deadline centric environment.

Job Summary:

This candidate should have experience with software in an ASP (externally-hosted) environment. Strong technical aptitude is essential, with working knowledge and experience in XML, HTML, SQL and business reporting applications such as Crystal or FRX. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of database design, application configuration, and system architecture. Any additional experience with financial accounting, customer relationship management, and sales force automation software is a plus. Ideally, the configuration specialist will have completed at least one full lifecycle CRM project from design through go-live (as part of full ERP scope).

Primary Activities & Duties:Develop Custom Fields, Screens, Workflows, and Reports in an ERP system. Provide assistance in Business Analysis, Application Setup, Reporting, and End-user Training tasks. Ability to work from and/or create Design Specifications from Requirements provided by Business Analysts.

Required Skills: Self-starter with good analytical and superior communication skills and a strong technical aptitude. Working knowledge and experience in the following:
- XML
- HTML
- SQL
- Crystal Reports (or similar report application)
- Database Design
- Application Configuration
- System Architecture

Desirable Skills: Experienced in at least one full lifecycle CRM project from design through go-live. Experience with financial accounting, customer relationship management, and sales force automation software is a plus. Experience with NetSuite, including JavaScript customizations.
