Supv, PDS Production Center

OfficeMax Print & Document Services is seeking customer focused individuals who are interested in putting their know-how to work with an industry forerunner. OfficeMax is a leader in both business-to-business and retail office products distribution, offering the latest in digital printing technologies and production services.

We currently are recruiting for: Print and Document Services (PDS) Production Center Supervisor.

The successful candidate will effectively train and direct the activities of production center operators and set the example of outstanding customer service, quality control and on-time production, and have prior successful experience in a production center environment.?

Duties include: Operating and training on a wide variety of equipment; scheduling, managing and tracking production flow; creating proofs for customer orders; coordinating the pick-up and delivery of customer orders; maintaining the production center equipment and supply levels; increase efficiencies of production quality and turn around time through continual process improvement; maintain working knowledge of all current production center technology and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to learning; ensuring communication between shifts; monitoring the center's operational reports to identify
opportunity areas for improved execution and ensuring established safety procedures are followed in equipment use and product handling.


Contributing to the customer's shopping experience by providing high quality, accurate and on-time processing of all orders.

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
Ability to operate computer systems relevant to all aspects of production center operations.
Able to work full-time hours on a variety of day/evening shifts including weekends.
Able to lift and carry up to 55 pounds, as an occasional requirement of the job.
Have prior successful experience in a production center environment.
Some supervisory experience preferred.
Effectively interact with internal/external customers and be capable of handling customer inquiries and issues.?
Able to provide resolution in a courteous and professional manner.
Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure while supervising multiple tasks.
Ability to positively interact with other team members and management.
