Team Leader, NY Production and Design

Platts, the world’s largest and most authoritative source of energy information and services, is seeking a Team Leader in New York City to assist in the production of a variety of Platts publications.  This individual will be responsible for supporting PFVI production taskes as leader of a two-person NY Team and will layout Platts flagship daily newsletter, Oilgram News.  Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Layout further daily/weekly publications as established by manager (1-2 weeklies, possibly one early daily publication) Assist in maintaining newsletter templates Design maps, charts and other graphics to accompany newsletters and ensure these transfer appropriately to online delivery channels Assist in Desktop Publication software support and training for local editorial group, primarily those produced from New York (currently around 9 titles) Assist in design and redesign of newsletters, primarily those produced from New York (currently around 9 titles) Provide backups and on-the-job training as necessary to the second production associate in New YorkContribute to projects for the US Production & Design group as determined by manager
