PRIMEDIA?s Consumer Media & Magazines publishes more than 120 magazines and owns and operates their affiliated Web sites. The group serves the passions of its readers and the needs of advertisers through a wide range of Enthusiast and Broad Reach publications. Primedia is currently seeking a Tech Editor for Super Chevy Magazine, in our Automotive group located in Rochelle Park, NJ.
Job summary:
-Plan technical articles
-Initiate and execute technical articles
-Shoot and write car features
-Perform on-track tests
-Perform engine dyno tests
-All other duties as assigned
-Will be responsible for coordinating and running Danger Mouse engine dyno series with local engine shops.
-Will also be responsible for contributing to Super Chevy?s three SIPs as well as the bi-monthly title Camaro Performers.
Qualifications:
-Requires complete understanding and hands-on knowledge of American automotive technology
-Strong computer skills
-Strong mechanical ability
-3 years or more of article writing and photography.
