 Responsibilities:

? Refine current sourcing strategy and recommend suggestions for improvement.

? Define sourcing (buying) and contracting process, recommend to and obtain approval from the Accenture client.

? Implement and support enforcement of buying and contracting processes.

? Formulate procurement and category-specific policies and lead implementation.

? Develop product/service specifications in cooperation with Accenture client.

? Develop supplier evaluation and selection criteria, in general, and for each spend category as part of agreed procurement strategy.

? Monitor category trends and conduct market research as needed and agreed.

? Identify and evaluate incumbent and potential suppliers, applying established evaluation and selection criteria.

? Conduct RFx activities as necessary (including managing the process of obtaining approved nondisclosure agreements), to build short-list of potential suppliers.

? Negotiate or renegotiate with suppliers jointly with the Accenture client.

? Manage the negotiation and contract development process.

? Perform operational review of contract performance for categories in scope.

? Define and manage contractual and supplier relationships in collaboration with the Accenture client.

? Establish metrics and monitor and report on supplier performance.

? Design and implement contract management and communications, including processes for due diligence of supplier capabilities, market and financial position.

? Design supplier and user compliance management program, recommend policies and procedures as well as implementation and performance tracking program.

? Define accountabilities for compliance tracking, analysis, and reporting, and client participation.

? Build and manage baseline (spend, requisition/PO process, supplier/user behavior and procurement practices) data, using external expertise as needed for due diligence.

? Build and maintain electronic contract library (SLAs, pricing and terms) for spend categories under management.

? Perform category management for all categories in the final Wave Plan that have been sourced by Accenture where Accenture is leading the sourcing effort

? Utilize clients eProcurement/eSourcing tools:  Emptoris, Aravo, and Ariba

? Overall, manage all aspects of the category over the life of the Accenture client contract.

? Partner with the Global Category Leads to develop and execute category strategyDeep Office Equipment specific marketplace expertise obtained through managing the end-to-end sourcing process, including defining requirements, negotiations, implementation and management of supplier agreements

 

QualificationsBachelor Degree Business Related 1-3 years experience delivering Office Equipment category specific sourcing/buying service, strategic sourcing, supplier/category management and compliance management, across North America.Understanding of Office Equipment maintenance strategiesFinancial Services experience, in particular Mortgage related, a plusProfessional Procurement Qualification (CIPS/CPM or equivalent preferred)eProcurement/eSourcing technology experience, in particular Emptoris and Ariba skills a plus
