As part of Accenture Procurement Solutions (APS) organization, the Teleservices Buying Specialist will support TeleServices Sourcing Lead and Category Manager in applying standard practices and processes in supporting sourcing and buying efforts for Call Center/TeleServices work. For simple to moderate requirements, the person in this role will take the lead in providing fulfillment services for niche and/or client specific needs (i.e., local sourcing, supplier diversity, etc.) leveraging existing master agreements. Included in the process are clarification and definition of end-user requirements, formal bidding, supplier selection, contract negotiations and supplier management (tactical). The resource(s) in this role ensures the firm mitigates risk, operates in a cost effective manner, delivers bottom line savings/cost avoidance for the firm, all while following standard firm approved processes and practices.  Categories that will be supported include (but are not limited to) Inbound and Outbound Customer Contact Management Services. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Gain a clear understanding of the range of services that fall within the TeleServices category. Work with Category Managers, Accenture projects and Business Development leads to select and negotiate with suppliers capable of meeting a project?s specifications and requirements.Maintain productive working relationships with key customers and suppliers, with a focus on understanding, addressing and incorporating client-specific contractual requirements into supplier agreements. Closely work with Category Managers and Global Category Leads to ensure alignment with broader strategy, inclusive of establishing supplier agreements with suppliers meeting client requirements. Work with internal Accenture hiring managers to explain the benefits of the broad Contractor and TeleServices offering and assess the opportunity to funnel requests through preferred suppliers. Support the development of statements of work (SOW) containing detailed user requirements and supplier expectations.

 

Qualifications

 

Required Skills:

 

Bachelors Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business or Finance

2-3 years buying experience in a corporate procurement organization

Strong knowledge of the Call Center industry

General knowledge of contract law and drafting specifications / SOW

2 years Excel skills to intermediate level

Experience working in a call center environment is a plus

Preferred experience in buying and sourcing professional services and/or labor
