POSITION SUMMARY:

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist shall support the Manager of Strategic Sourcing in Contingent Labor and the Professional Services category of Procurement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

- Negotiating Professional Services/Contingent Labor contracts up to $300.000.

- Contact administration and Statement of Work development coordination for these  contracts partnering with functional and business area managers, executives and vendors.
- Perform research on the labor market and risk mitigation.
- Perform analytical tasks such as vendor scorecards, trend analysis and performance metrics. 

- Develop and deploy RFP?S when looking for vendors.

- Evaluate and assess business requirements, develop proposals, coordinate projects.
- Execute queries and develop executive reports for distribution.
- Assist Strategic Sourcing Manager in planning and supporting activities and in monitoring vendor performance.
- Assist in the creation of continuous improvement projects to ensure year-over-year improvements are realized.
- Perform other duties as assigned.


ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & LICENSES:

 

- Experience in contract administration preferred

- Ability to interact with executive level management
- Excellent written, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Functional understanding of Agency Staffing/Contingent Workforce/Professional Services or Procurement preferred

- Ability to make sound business decisions
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

- 2-3 years experience in procurement, sourcing, contract administration, or consulting activities
- Bachelor?s degree
- MS Office Suite, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project, WWW
