The Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing and verifying the accuracy of pricing and deal conditions sent to the stores based upon vendor and other competitive information.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 
Works with the Advertising Department to ensure regular and deal pricing is submitted in all forms of advertising media.  Gathers data and analyzes information provided form the Merchant team ensuring system requirements are met.  Verifies deals and pricing are loaded for stores.
Assesses deals and pricing for upcoming ads to ensure they meet Pricing Guidelines and works with merchandising group to resolve.
Addresses field (store)pricing issues and routes problems to Systems or Merchandising. 
Loads deal pricing for advertised media and verifies accuracy of data for advertisements.
Works with Systems to resolve systemic issues and maintains regular communication to resolve issues.
Analyzes sales reports to determine effectiveness of selected advertisements or special projects.
Reviews printed signage to ensure accuracy and verifies that pricing or deals meet guidelines and are loaded into the system correctly.
Approves changes processed in promotional planning tool ensuring adherence to department/company policies.
Reviews competitor advertisements for pricing information and routes to merchants.  Facilitates competitor price audits and organizes data gathered to determine optimal price points.

?  Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience preferred

?  Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP helpful

?    Experience with analyzing data and ability to draw conclusions

?  Previous retail experience helpful
