Primary objective:

 

The Asset Coordinator will perform best if he/she is organized, logistically minded, analytical, timely, able to negotiate effectively, work will with others, have a sense of urgency, and manage time effectively.  This position often requires quick response and clear thinking.  Because of the nature of the job, a daily planner / Microsoft Outlook calendar is highly recommended as well as organizing a filing system.  This position also requires the use of computer databases and inventory management systems.  In order to use our proprietary database training will be provided.  Taking notes and documenting the movement of inventory is necessary.  There will be regular weekly/monthly reports that will be required and it is imperative the reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner.  This position requires phone time and basic computer skills are needed to fulfill the job requirements successfully.

Responsibilities for this position include:

?  Maintain minimum levels of product for multiple locations

?  Update daily / weekly / monthly reports

?  Assist internal customers in locating furniture for transfer within region as needed

?  Enter Purchase Orders into computer system

?  Provide internal customers with acknowledgement information regarding open purchase orders

?  Maintain filing system for all Purchase Orders

 

Salary is 45-50K per year (DOE) plus performance sharing
