We are seeking a dependable, results-oriented person to provide cost-effective, timely delivery of raw materials and packaging materials in a short lead-time, varying capacity manufacturing environment.  The selected individual will develop short and long-term procurement strategies monitoring market developments and economic influences which affect the product supply stream.  The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to self-manage workload, and be extraordinarily detail-oriented. 

 

RequirementsB.A./B.S. in Business or applicable discipline; 5+ years purchasing experience for a manufacturing industry; packaging procurement experience desirable; or combination thereof.  Candidates with C.P.M. will be given preference.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and the Internet required.ERP Purchasing system experience required; SAP experience desired.Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.Good negotiating skills.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment despite frequent interruptions.Strong organizational and mathematical skills.Ability to self-manage work load.Ability to work in the US without sponsorship.Relocation assistance may be available to a qualified candidate.
