You will purchase and confirm receipt of materials, management research organization supplies, equipment, and services. Solicit and evaluate proposals for new and second source suppliers. Make supplier recommendations to supervisor.

 

Ensure purchases are delivered on schedule, invoiced at the negotiated price, and meet the quality standards of the company. Provide an analysis and resolution for any discrepancies.

Interact and communicate effectively with all employees to accomplish company goals, including providing company-wide training and support on all procurement processes. Provide input regarding identification, development, and implementation of process improvements, department policies and procedures, and user manuals.



We require a Bachelor's degree in a business or scientific discipline and three to five years related experience in purchasing or materials; or seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, and ERP Database software.
