Buyer - Vendor Managed Inventory Analyst

Position will utilize the JDA VMR system to maintain current customer and aid in new customer addition to the VMI process. This will include responsibilities for order creation, order management, and order execution for assigned accounts. Analyzing sales and inventory data for trends and opportunities along with reporting on analysis to both the retail sales team and customer.

 VMI Buyer will work daily with VMR system to manage, buy, return and evaluate assigned customer Inventories to maximize sales and productivity.Maintaining store plan and profiles, daily processing of the POS data into the JDA file format, uploading this data into the VMR system, verifying automated required files and sales analysis/reporting. Plano gram creation and modification along with producing re-assortment recommendations. Confirming orders have been created in the Tolas system, and have shipped. System trouble shooting. Interact with the EDI group, retail sales group, and upper management on a frequent basis. Occasional customer interaction. Daily, weekly and monthly data reporting and in-depth sales and inventory analysis. Analyzing inventory for overstock and issuing return recall documents to the customer?s retail locations.

 

Experience Requirements:  2 to 4 years of Inventory Analysis 

 

Educational Requirements:  BA/BS

 

Special Skills/Abilities: 

 VMI, JDA, or E3 experience a plus but not required Data Warehouse knowledge (Oracle) and query language(s)
