* Procure company inventory and supplies while managing vendor performance through negotiating, expediting, sourcing and quality control.
* Negotiate supplier contracts to provide price and delivery flexibility.
* Analyze material procurement histories to negotiate and leverage volume buying.
* Maintain inventory at optimum levels.
* Develop new supply sources when price reductions are required.
* Manage suppliers to price, delivery and quality expectations.
Requirements:
* 2 years experience (minimum) commodity buying with injected molding and plastics.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Word, Excel, Access, AS400 and Lotus Notes experience.
