Commodity Manager / AVP
Job Description: Our Client, an Investment Management Firm based in New York City is searching for a Commodity?s Manager/AVP. In this dynamic role, the ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years experience Sourcing/Procurement and with category knowledge, centered around a strong focus on generalized ?indirect? Spend categories like Print Management, Facilities/Building, Courier Services and Office Products. They should also have strong IT Category knowledge as well, with a focus on Communications Hardware and related services.
This ideal candidate will also be focused on driving costs out of the supply chain without compromising or affecting Service/Product quality.
Our Client is offering a Base salary of up to 125K plus a Generous Bonus.
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree Required-MBA or Equivalent a Plus!
Financial Services/Healthcare/Consumer Business/
5+ Years Experience in Procurement/Sourcing, Contract negotiation, strategic alliance development and competitive price and cost analysis
Strong Project Management/Strategic decision making!
CPM/CPIM Preferred!
Ability to Interact with Senior Management.
