Fixture Development Coordinator

Assist in the planning and support of the fixture resource and procurement process for all new stores, remodeling projects and capital projects necessary to support Kohl?s growth and marketing strategies through vendor resource development, price negotiations, fixture specifications and annual vendor contract awards.

Position Responsibilities
Maintain all fixture floorplan drawing symbols necessary to support the blueprint preparation for all store planning and merchandise presentation projects.
Prepare the fixture specification documents to administer with the RFQ/auction process and the procurement of all fixtures necessary to support all projects.
Prepare all fixture item and specification documentation necessary or the release of all fixture manual, hardware blitz and fixture contractor installation documents.
Complete all project blueprint extractions for the subsequent release of purchase orders necessary to support all projects.
Assist with the necessary item maintenance updates for the PeopleSoft purchase order system.
Assist with the development of RFQ bidding/auction analysis for evaluation to determine annual fixture vendor commitment contracts.
2-3 years experience in a related field.

Qualifications
Advanced level knowledge of AutoCAD, Access and Excel.
Must be detail oriented; ability to be precise in fixture detailing methods.
General knowledge of manufacturing processes in multiple disciplines.
Knowledge of base materials commonly utilized in the fabrication of store fixtures.
Ability to communicate specifications and details with the supplier community.
Must be a self-starter who initiates activities and aggressively brings closure to tasks.
Ability to interact at all levels with internal and external customers.
Ability to adapt to change and high pressure situations.
Proven ability to manage.
