Forecast Analyst/Planner - Newly Created Position

Franklin Sports, a leading brand of sporting goods products has a key position available in our Forecasting/Planning Department.  This is a challenging position that will manage both the inventory for our Entertainment Properties Division and also oversee the forecast for a 15M segment of our business. 

 

Primary job responsibilities are as follows:



Planning:Managing the flow of goods in accordance with sales forecast, customer orders, trends and inventory management goalsCapacity planning with overseas factoriesContainer load plan analysis with suppliersSupplier performance assessment as it relates to on-time delivery and quality



Forecasting: Establish and maintain forecast for specific account baseAnalyze historical data, trends, seasonality and promotional impactMonitor retail movement/in stock positionsIntegrate outside sales representatives into the forecasting process

 

The successful candidate will have a firm understanding of supply chain management practices as it relates to Planning and Forecasting.  Must have strong analytical, computer and communication skills with an advanced knowledge of Excel. College degree in a business field required. Knowledge of MAPICS a plus.
