Fortune 500 industrial products firm seeks an accomplished Purchasing executive with a strong background in Indirect and non-production areas of a multi-plant global organization. This position will pay a base of up to 90K+ plus bonus and excellent benefit package.

As Global Sourcing Manager ? Non-Production, you will work with the various subsidiaries of the company and numerous manufacturing facilities on a global basis. You will be in charge of the following key areas: MRO, IT, Telecom, Outside Services, Capital Expenditures, Technical and administrative items.

Requirements include:

A minimum of 5-7 years in Purchasing Management with significant experience in the Indirect / non-production area. You must have 3-5 years of management experience and must have similar experience from a Fortune 500 multi-plant, manufacturing firm.

You must have a track record of proven success in cost reduction and productivity improvement using innovative approaches to Supply Chain Management.

Experience in E-Commerce, E-Auctions, E-Sourcing is required. We prefer a candidate who has been managing a total spend of $100M-$200M with at least 20% in E-Commerce.

Excellent knowledge of systems, such as Ariba, SAP, ERP, MRP, JD Edwards is critical. Six Sigma background and experience in Lean Manufacturing is also highly desired.
