How would you like to become a part of a trend setting, versatile, international and ever-exciting consumer products company?  Conair Corporation, a leader in professional and consumer hair care products, has a new business opportunity available in our Professional Division for Import Buyer.

 

We are seeking someone with purchasing and negotiation skills and prefer a candidate with prior experience in Liquids (shampoos, conditioners) and overseas sourcing.  Working knowledge of liquids manufacturing is a plus.  The ideal candidate must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and knowledge of SAP a plus and must be comfortable working in Asia for extended periods.  Also required, a 4-year business degree or equivalent experience.

 

In this position, you will be interacting with current fillers and suppliers in Asia, with Research & Development in the US to establish proper manufacturing processes, as well as with our Far East Facility to establish proper Q/C checks for components.  Other responsibilities include identifying new sources of supply used in US manufacturing, as well as those used in China production.
