Indirect Procurement Manager

Position Description: » Responsible for procurement of all indirect spend excluding raw materials.? Strategically analyze supply markets for the purchase of goods & services that have been identified as high expenditure items.? Research market structure, competition, supply chain & potential alternatives, prepare financial analysis, execute and maintain purchasing strategy.? Identify total expenditure on item/category of goods or services & work with internal user group to develop detailed understanding of demand issues and specific goals & objectives.? Review strategies with Procurement management and internal user group. Identify preferred purchasing strategy & implement. ? Create requests for proposals (RFPs), solicit suppliers, evaluate offers, negotiate, award & actively manage supplier arrangements.? Develop key performance indicators, monitor supplier performance & measure against achievement of purchasing goals.
