Dresser Wayne has an immediate opening for a Jr. Buyer in a fast-paced Purchasing department. You must be able to start immediately!



Specific job duties include, but not limited to:



1. Create Purchase Orders        

2. Manage Open PO report

3. Reduce lead times

4. Daily supplier Interface

5. Invoice resolution

6. Vendor expedites

7. Minority Business Development Process

8. Monitor Supplier Performance

9. Creating Commodity team metrics



You must also possess strong problem solving and communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Excel. MRP, supply management, negotiations, and cost analysis experience also required. You must be a self-starter, and have a sense of urgency.



This position requires a B.S. / B.A. in a related field, as well as a minimum of two years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
