MATERIALS MANAGER

Evana Automation Specialists Inc., a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries Inc., is a leading supplier of automation assembly equipment. We specialize in motion controls, robotics integration and system architecture. We have designed and built a variety of machines and systems, from special stand-alone work cells to full turnkey manufacturing assembly systems.

We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Materials Manager to join our Evana Automation Team in Evansville, Indiana.  In this position you will lead a Purchasing Department of three dedicated professionals.  As part of the Leadership Team you will be instrumental in implementing ?lean? purchasing procedures.  Evana has increased sales rapidly over the last 12 months and purchases over $12 million in materials and services annually.  Continued rapid growth is forecast.  The Materials Manager will work closely with project managers and engineers to establish material delivery schedules and ensure required items are available to support build plans.  Vender management and negotiating skills are a must. 
BSBA, BSME or equivalent experience
Electronic, electrical, pneumatic part purchasing experience
Contracting machined parts
MS Office and Project Management applications
2- years experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent)

 Certified Purchasing Managers / JIT Planning / Execution is a plus, but not required.
