Manager, Purchasing & Corporate Travel

Habitat for Humanity is currently seeking a highly motivated Manager of Purchasing & Corporate Travel to be based in its Administrative Headquarters (Atlanta, Georgia) and manage its corporate purchasing and travel department.

Essential Responsibilities:
*Responsible for the operation of the organizational purchasing and corporate travel function.
*Identify opportunities where contract negotiations and implementation of new purchasing processes will reduce costs and increase efficiency. 
*Create RFP's, research products, recommend vendors and solutions and implement approved solutions.
*Manage the relationship with the corporate travel vendor and manage the online expense reimbursement product.

*Business related bachelor?s degree
*5 - 7 years corporate purchasing
*Travel related work experience preferred
*Strong management skills
*Proven experience in finding solutions to organizational purchasing and travel needs and a working knowledge of GAAP
*Proven ability to create, implement and monitor standard processes, creativity in identifying needs and solutions, strong negotiating skills and proven ability to identify and implement cost effective and efficient processes. 
*Ability to work independently and lead teams through a decision making process. 
*Strong written, presentation, and verbal skills required.
*Ability to read and analyze and modify contracts when negotiating ? providing favorable business terms. 
*Strong project management skills and international experience.
