Manager of Accounting & Procurement

AIM has an immediate opening for a Manager of Accounting & Procurement.  This position reports directly to the General Manager.  The successful candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks, work well in a heavy deadline environment, be extremely organized and detail oriented, and work well with others. 

 

 

Procurement

The successful candidate must have an understanding and proven experience with procurement best practices. Quality assurance is a must along with the ability to monitor and report on performance goals and metrics while ensuring the client customers are satisfied. Demonstrated excellent organization and communication experience are necessary.  Must have strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple vendor relationships.  Demonstrated ability to use sound financial and business justification for complex decisions.  This is a hands-on position.  Successful candidates must also demonstrate a proven track record of vendor sourcing.

 

Accounting



The successful candidate must have a strong accounting background and ability to work with outside accounting firms, vendors, clients. Knowledge in creating and analyzing financial statements required. Capable of profit and loss responsibilities for client accounts.

 

Will supervise an accountant who processes A/P & A/R and payroll.  Must be able to perform collection function and manage vendor payments. Managerial experience of an accounting department is a requirement.





 

Requirements include:Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Access Minimum of 5 years procurement and accounting work experience BS/BA degree requiredHighly motivated, action-oriented individual with very strong business, analytical and problem solving skills Extensive knowledge and experience of Procurement and Strategy DevelopmentCapacity to co-ordinate and prioritize multiple, complex tasks Excellent negotiation and influencing skills Strong written and personal communication skills Effective project evaluation and spend management skill-sets Creative thinking An ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence upwards Culture and change management skills A cost and customer focus
