Material Sourcing Representative

Build upon your initiative and expand your ability to deliver impressive results with Trex, the leading brand of alternative decking and railing in America.  We are experiencing dynamic growth and currently seek a market focused Material Sourcing Representative in the Boston/Providence/Hartford area who will oversee polyethylene film purchasing within an assigned geographical region, seeking to exceed established territory goals in both volume and price while meeting company material specifications.

Material Sourcing Representative

Specific duties include:Meet or exceed volume and price goals for PE film while continuously identifying and establishing new accounts through research, leads, telephone contact, and networking. Maintain territory management by servicing current business through physical inspections, vendor training, overall quality, and potential new volume. Negotiate material purchase within territory total price target and inform management of changes, trends, new developments, and competition in the marketplace.

Qualifications include:Must have a B.S. Degree. 3+ years of related purchasing or sales experience preferred. Must possess a fundamental knowledge of the plastics recycling industry. Must be willing to travel up to 70% of time. Must be PC literate. Strong communication skills. Must be innovative, creative and highly motivated.
