Materials Coordinator

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Materials Coordinator at our manufacturing facility in Middleton, WI. The Kerr plant is a leading manufacturer of lights and loupes for the medical and dental industry.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Part number and Bill of Material maintenance -Enter receiving reports and close open purchase orders in a timely manner -Assist Buyer/Planners with planning and forecasting necessary to reduce stock shortages -Administer the cycle count program and reconcile physical inventory counts to the perpetual inventory system -Prepare inventory management reports -Assist with stocking requirements for office and lunchroom supplies -Create and distribute production order packets -Reconcile completed production order packets -Other tasks as assigned by management

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

-Associates degree preferred and 1-3 years of equivalent experience -Accounting background a plus -Prior experience working with inventory software

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

-Must be detailed and accurate -Working knowledge of perpetual inventory system -Proficient in Word and Excel -Ability to work with various levels of the organization in a professional manner -Excellent written and communication skills
