Tyco Electronics Power Systems, a division of Tyco Electronics, is a leading global power and components provider and manufacturer of high quality AC-DC and DC-DC power solutions. We are currently seeking a Product Introduction Specialist to work with our contract manufacturer in China to achieve cost targets. Requirements include RFQ request and analysis, contract knowledge, reading engineering drawings, escalation of expedite, material shipping across different countries, verbal and written communications, presentation skills, and MS Office experience. Candidate will be the main interface between our design engineering, purchasing team and contract manufacturer. The candidate will also be interfacing with various levels within the organization, customers, and suppliers. Prefer a candidate with some engineering knowledge relating to process capabilities, mechanical, and electrical design. SAP is required. Speaking Chinese preferred.
MA/MS + 1 yr exp; or
BA/BS + 4 yrs exp.; or
6 years related experience
Experience required:
- Technical certification(s) is preferred.
- Proven track record in developing technical solutions.
- Must have good problem solving resolution skills and be capable of working within a structured methodology /set of standards.
